# Product Introduction
APX's advanced background gas compensation measures not only the thermal conductivity of gases but also their specific heat and viscosity. By measuring these physical properties, APX can better distinguish background gases with different paramagnetism. Traditional dumbbell-type paramagnetic oxygen analyzers cannot automatically compensate for the diamagnetic effects caused by changes in background gases, making APX stand out with obvious advantages. Therefore, APX can deliver more accurate measurements for applications involving background gases with various known or unknown components.
