Whether measuring air or high velocity fluids, the indicator can be replaced in place without affecting its performance, and the float can be replaced as well. The RAMC's wetted parts are available in a wide range of materials, and an intrinsically safe output is available as an option.
Yokogawa float flow meters are simple in design and utilize a technology that is one of the older and more proven principles in flow measurement: as the fluid flow increases, the float inside the conical glass tube rises and its graduated position can be read as the flow rate.
