Compact design:
The solid plastic case includes:
Green LED, used to indicate the signal state of the input.
Front connector socket, protected through the front door.
Label area on the front door.
Connector pin allocation for wiring inside the front door.
Easy to install:
There are no slot rules; the input address is determined by the slot.
When used with the active bus module in ET 200M, a hot plug can be performed without any response.
Convenient for user wiring.
Modules with channels 8,16,32, or 64.
Functions
The digital quantity input module converts the external digital signal level from the process into the internal signal level of the controller (logic "0" or "1").
Multiple input voltages can support the connection of different control signals:
24 V DC
48 - 125 V DC
120/230 V AC
Besides the economical and tractable features, the module has other special features:
It can be used in isotime mode
Process and diagnostic alarm
Use the source current or the leakage current
Special modules can also handle process engineering, for example, supporting the NAMUR standard.
